Casa Albina lies in the heart of the countryside surrounded by undulating chalk hills at the edge of Patrimonio, one of the most winemaking areas in Corsica, five minutes drive to the beach and Saint-Florent.

Situated in the Gulf of Saint-Florent, Patrimonio is an ideal location for exploring the northern part of Corsica. Roads lead to La Balagne, Le Centre, Cap Corse and Le Nebbio, so Calvi, Corte, the far end of the Cap and La Castaniccia are all only 1&1/2 hours drive away.

The domain, two and a half acres of private parkland where numerous species of plants and trees abundantly offer perfumes and visual delights indigenous to the Mediterranean, is bordered in the east by a small river, the "Fiume Albinu". A few strides away stands the Genoes stone gridge which marks the starting point of the historical pathway leading to the monastery "San Francescu di Marianda", in the neibghbouring commune of Farinole.

Three independent apartments housed in a renovated farm building plus the owner's house, are located in the grounds and a charmingly renovated olive oil mill in the village of Patrimonio.
Blending in harmoniously with the surrouding landscape and using traditionnal Corsican rural architctural materials, the renovation is a tasteful combination of local stone, lime based products, wood and cast iron, giving the interior and exterior of the building an authentic local flavour.
All the accomodation has lanscape views and each apartment has one or two private shaded courtyards, leading out onto the garden or the orchard and furnished with teak garden furniture and a barbecue.
In the grounds, the children have their own shaded area equipped with games, whilst the adults can relax in hammocks under century old trees next to ageless rocks.Ashaded parking area is located near the apartments.

Cultural and sports activities are guaranteed all year round, both in the surrounding area and in the village itself, thanks to a number of talented craftsmen, winemakers and various dynamic organizations. These includes traditional Corsican singing and instrumental courses, oenolgy, horse-riding... The owners of Casa Albina take great pleasure in helping their guest organize their stay.
